Funeral & Internment Information

​

A trustee must be notified before digging of a grave or before marking or curbing a lot.

All local funeral homes have a letter stating conditions for burial in this cemetery.

These conditions must be met before a burial. Please find the attached Snow Hill Cemetery Association Funeral Home instructional for details on internment in Snow Hill Cemetery (updated as of June 17, 2024).

A $300 deposit must be made with the funeral home which will be forwarded to the cemetery association. If a granite marker giving name, date of birth and date of death is installed within six months of burial the deposit will be refunded to the person making the deposit. Otherwise, the cemetery will use the deposit to purchase and set such a stone.
